GGlance is an independent, community-built companion app for the FreeStyle Libre on Garmin watches. Privacy matters to us, so this policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you use the GGlance apps and this website.
Your glucose data stays on your devices
GGlance reads your FreeStyle Libre values through your own LibreLinkUp account. Your LibreLinkUp email and password are stored only in your Garmin Connect IQ settings, on your devices, and are used solely to fetch your own readings.
There is no GGlance server that receives, stores, or analyses your glucose data. Readings travel from LibreLinkUp to your phone and on to your watch, and nowhere else.
What this website collects
Nothing about you. This website does not track you, does not run advertising, and does not collect personal information as you browse.
The only time you share anything is when you choose to contact us, and then we only use what you send in order to reply.
Donations
If you choose to support GGlance through Buy Me a Coffee, the payment is handled entirely by Buy Me a Coffee. We only ever see what they show us, such as a first name and the amount. Please review their privacy policy.
Third-party services
GGlance works with services run by others: Garmin Connect IQ (your watch and its app store) and Abbott's FreeStyle Libre and LibreLinkUp (your sensor and readings). Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can remove GGlance from your watch at any time, and you can clear your LibreLinkUp credentials from the Connect IQ settings whenever you like. Doing so stops GGlance from reading any further data.
